After taking an almost six long year break from drawing almost everyday in high school, I started drawing again and had to relearn everything. It was frustrating at first and it took a long time for me to get comfortable again drawing.

I began playing Dungeons and Dragons and began taking commissions for custom fantasy characters. I tried a more realistic style but it never stuck since my ambitions superseded my skill. Even so, I learned a lot from my mistakes and made a bit of money along the way.

I transitioned from Photoshop to Clip Studio Paint and participated in my first Inktober! I surprised myself with my diligence and one of my posts even got some traction on Twitter/X. This further fueled my creative journey and I began following tutorials online more in depth.
